NBA Play of the Day: Pelicans +5.5. Alright, we need to get back on track ASAP. The model has the Pels as the top play today. The Pelicans are an excellent rebounding team and match up pretty well with he Hornets. The Pelicans score on average 109 points per 100 possessions while the Hornets allow 110 per 100 poss. The Pelicans allow on average about 108 points per 100 possession while the Hornets score about 109. This game should be very close and my model likes it more and a pk or even Pels -1. BOL
