The biggest strength of the Raptors is their ability to take care of the ball and turn the other team over. They are ranked 6th in turnovers, and are the best team in the NBA at taking the ball away. The 76ers aren't terrible in either of these stats, but it's the playoffs and this small advantage could be the difference in winning and losing. Another strength of the Raptors is rebounding. They are the second best offensive rebound team, while the 76ers are ranked in the bottom third in defensive rebounding. The biggest weakness for the Raptors is shooting efficiency. They are ranked 29th in eFG% and 24th in the defensive eFG%. The 76ers are better, but not by a wide margin. They are ranked 15th in eFG% and 14th in defensive eFG%. The scariest thing about the 76ers is their Free Throw Rate. They are the best team at getting to the line and converting. James Harden and Joel Embiid are great at drawing contact and then shooting free throws at a high percentage. Overall, when looking at these important metrics, it's fairly close. The Raptors are a gritty team and matchup well against the 76ers. There are a lot of people out there picking the Raptors to win this series. I won't go that far quite yet, but today we have the Raptors +4.5.
